Houston-Wallace Society Purpose

Founded on San Jacinto Day, 2026, the Society’s purpose is the collection, diffusion, preservation, and celebration of the respective and unique history and culture of Rockbridge County, Virginia, and the State of Texas, with emphasis upon the convergence of such histories and cultures as embodied by the respective life and legacy of Samuel Houston and William Alexander Anderson Wallace.
